To replace the cruise control switch on a 1996 Chevrolet Corsica, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the steering wheel by taking off the retaining nut and using a steering wheel puller if necessary. Once the wheel is off, access the cruise control switch by removing the screws or clips securing it to the steering column. Finally, replace the old switch with the new one, reassemble the steering wheel, and reconnect the battery.
Remove the retaining ring at the top of your 1994 Chevy Corsica ignition switch. Slide the ignition switch out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
The combination turn signal, cruise control, windshield wiper, and headlight dimmer switch simply plugs in. Pull the relay switch out and replace with the new switch.
This is not extremely hard but you do need direction. Get a manual on your car from the parts store or DiSCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM
This means that the switch is going bad. You will need to replace the switch that is on your steering wheel or on the turn signal switch.
The heater switch can be replaced on a Chevrolet Corsica by removing the three wires from the back of the switch. Put the wires onto the new switch and return it to its slot.

Replace the cruise control switch (the one with the orange light in it) The switch is a push on push off. If the little plastic gear inside the switch breaks off the switch will work like a door bell switch and will not latch on.

On my 89 Corsica switch on column under dash and may be difficult to replace without lowering column. I unplugged old switch, plugged in new switch, set it to dim and wired it to column so now only have dim lights so this might work for you as I believe Berretta and Corsica the same for this.
The switch is on the steering column about 18 inches from the floor. Simply take 2 screws holding it on and replace it.The locck cylinder is under the steering wheel.
It is not equipped with an inertia switch.
