Just disconnect the wiring and remove the sensor from the air tube and replace with a new one.
mark viis are speed density based not mass air there is no sensor
You have to take the bolts loose for the ac pump. Slide it as far out of the way as possible. Then pull the sensor out.

They are located on the downpipes from the headers.
The 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII ABS speed sensor is located on the side of the transmission. The speed sensor should be labeled as such.

Standing in front of your car with the hood raised , look to the front left and you will see your air box , the mass air fow sensor is located on the bottom of the air box. You will need to remove the air box to get to the sensor .
Check the crank sensor. This what happened on my 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII.
