No you don't. Find out the recommended spark gap, and then just take them out and replace them one at a time to avoid mixing up the wires.
Replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, spark plug rotor & distributor, put in new air filter & change the fuel filter.

remove motor mount "dog bones" and also label/remove spark plug wires from spark plugs, remove valve cover, clean cover from debris, use light coat of oil to stick gasket, replace round rubber gaskets, replace cover, wires and "dog bones"
i just had to replace the shift solenoid on my 96 z28. if you drop the trans pan you will see both of them side by sidy they have two wires running to each of them.
