Not exactly sure what is being referred to by "pivot arm".
If it's the wiper arm the blade attaches to, lift the cover at the base to access a 15mm nut that holds it to the shaft.
If it's a linkage arm, those are actually rather easily accessed - follow the instructions for removing the motor and you'll have the entire wiper assembly out of the vehicle. Should be pretty straight-forward from there...
