How do you use Windstar 2001 remote?

2001 Ford Windstar vans came with one of two different style key fob.

One gives you a total of 5 buttons. Lock, Unlock, Open left sliding door, Open right sliding door and a Red panic button which sounds off the alarm when pressed.

The second remote or key fob does not have the option for opening the sliding doors.

To program the remote follow these steps *If you're not comfortable doing this take it to an Ford dealership.*

Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. (Door locks with cycle to confirm programming mode.)
Within 20 seconds press any button on first keyless remote (Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.)
Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remove. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming
Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
