The first time after you start the car and drive off the engine will overspeed in low gear and finally shift, when it does it shifts all the way to 3rd gear, every time you stop and take off it will pull away in 3rd gear. If you shut off the engine and restart it will drive off like it did when you first started it. You will be able to shift the car manually. The service engine soon light will be on. How did I know it was the speed sensor, a damxed squirrel chewed the wires off of it
