I have a 03 Ford Explorer sport and the key pad code was behind the glovebox on the back of the door lock unlock module
First you will need the factory code, which is usually found on the trunk lid arm, owners card packaged with the manual, or printed on a label on the driver door module itself. If you can't find it anywhere, you can remove the drivers door panel and the driver door module is near the front end of the door (near the hinge). Once you have the factory code, enter it on the keypad and press 1/2, then press and hold 1/2 for two seconds, then release. The door locks will cycle to confirm erasure of the personal codes. To set a new code, enter the factory code, press 1/2, then enter the new personal code. The locks will cycle to confirm entry of the new code. The factory code remains the same (although some newer models are reportedly able to have a firmware update at the dealership that allows the factory code to be changed) and up to 3 personal codes can be created in addition.
You can change the personal entry code , but to change the factory code you have to change the RAP module and get new remotes ( as far as I know )
Remove interior driver's door panel, should be on "brain"
In a 2005 Ford Five Hundred, the factory code for the keyless entry system is typically located on a sticker on the driver’s side door pillar. You can find it by opening the driver's side door and looking at the area where the door latches. Additionally, the code may also be found in the owner's manual or on a card that came with the vehicle. If you’re unable to locate it, a Ford dealership can assist in retrieving the code using the vehicle identification number (VIN).
If its the code for the keyless remote entry, the buttons on the drivers door, The factory set code can usually be found on the right arm of the trunk hinge. Even it the code is changed, the code set at the factory (default) can still be used to unlock the door.
The factory installed tire size will be listed on the label on the driver side door jamb. The factory installed tire size will be listed on the label on the driver side door jamb.
Every vehicle with keyless entry has it's own factory code
If you are reseting a factory alarm...lock and unlock the drivers door with the key. If you don't know the code look under the dash driver side in left corner there should be a black cover with a sticker with a code on it 6 numbers that is the factory code.
You can't change the code unless you know the existing code. Without the code, it can only be changed by a dealer. My suggestion is to simply call your X and ask for the code.
The factory code for a 2006 Lincoln LS keyless door pad is typically found on a label attached to the owner's manual or in the glove compartment. It can also be located on the trunk lid or under the driver's side dashboard. If the code is not available, you may need to contact a Lincoln dealership with your vehicle's VIN to retrieve it.
Each vehicle has its own factory code
Door Code Location... I actually found the door code behind the fuse box area (Driver Side) on my brother's 2000 Ford Expedition EB. There is a big white sticker with 5 numbers starting with number 1####. Hope this helps...
