You need a 1 1/8 " spec. socket from the parts store (oil pressure sending unit socket, a regular deep well will damage the unit.) Most suppliers ship the unit with oil resistant Teflon tape on the threads. The unit is located on the middle of the block on the firewall side and is difficult but not impossible to reach. Once the electrical connection has been removed, it's pretty much like replacing a spark plug. Patience and care is required.
