I have a 2002 LeSabre so if it is like mine and if you mean the plastic cover over the engine, you remove the oil tube in the front of the engine by screwing off the entire tube and then the cover lifts off out of a ring in the back of the engine. The oil tube has the cap on it, but often the tube comes off with the cap, if not grab the shank of the tube and turn counterclockwise.
I have a 1991 Buick LeSabre and I believe its on the passenger side in between the firewall and engine. I believe it becomes more accessible if you take off the right front wheel and then remove the wheel well plastic shroud.
i am not to shure about a 99, take the glove compartment off and it might be behing there. The filter is under a plastic shroud beneath the passenger side wiper. To replace: With ignition on, but engine not running, turn on wipers then shut off ignition when wipers are 'up' and out of their parked position. Open hood. Partially remove passenger side weatherstrip slightly below passenger side wiper at plasitc air intake shroud. Remove center retaining screw which secures the plastic shroud assembly. Remove the large plastic retaining 'screw' on the passenger side of the shroud. Lift out the passenger side of the shroud. Look down inside the frame and you'll see the filter. Pull it out. Installation is reverse of removal.
Pull on it, its just stuck.
No, you do not have to remove the engine.
Yes.
Drain the radiator, and dispose of the fluids as it is toxic to animals. Remove the water pump belt. Take off the fan and fan shroud if they are in the way. Unbolt the pump, remove it, then install the new pump. Replace the belt, fan and shroud, then refill the radiator with new coolant.
Pry up on the tensioner and remove the belt. Then replace itusing the schematic on the fan shroud. If there isn't one, draw one before removing the belt. You have to put the transmission and motor on blocks and remove the motor mount to get the belt off and then slide a new one on.
You will find the ICM directly below the coils. Just remove the coils and you will be able to remove it. This is on a 1990 Buick Century V6 3300 engine. If you have a different engine I cannot confirm the location.
To remove the starter from a 1993 Buick Roadmaster with a 350 engine, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, locate the starter, which is positioned on the passenger side of the engine. Remove the electrical connections and the mounting bolts securing the starter to the engine block. Finally, carefully slide the starter out from its position.
Yes, you have to loosen engine mount
The schematic should be on the fan shroud.
it comes out the top only
