install timing belt on 1993 Plymouth sundance
Same ones for a timing belt replace. Once the timing belt is off, the center crank gear just pulls off, and the outer cam gears pull off once the single center bolt is removed.
To replace the timing belt on a 1993 Subaru Impreza, first disconnect the battery and remove the necessary components, such as the air intake and accessory belts, to access the timing belt cover. Next, align the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshafts to ensure proper timing, then remove the old belt and replace it with the new one, ensuring it's tensioned correctly. Reassemble all components in reverse order, ensuring everything is securely fastened, and finally reconnect the battery and start the engine to check for proper operation. Always consult a repair manual for specific torque specifications and additional details.
Replace the timing belt and pray that you dont have bent valves.

I have a 2008 Subara Impreza. When should i change the timing belt? Do i also need to change the cogs, tension bars and water pump??
The timing belt on a 2003 Subaru Impreza Outback should be replaced every 105,000 miles or every 105 months, whichever comes first. It's also advisable to inspect the timing belt and associated components regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you're unsure of the vehicle's maintenance history, it's a good idea to replace the timing belt sooner. Regular maintenance helps prevent engine damage from belt failure.
the water pump is located under the timing belt cover. in order to replace it you need to remove the timing belt, i would recommend doing the timing belt while your in there too.
Most cars with a rubber timing belt and not a timing chain should be replaced between 80-100k miles. I believe the impreza has an interference engine which means if the timing belt breaks while driving you will have a much more expensive repair, as the valves may need replacing as well. If you have no proof that the timing belt was done by a previous owner you should have it done as well.
