The 1990 - 1997 Town Cars have the same Air Suspension. I have read about a lot of things that can go wrong. You can replace air bags and the pump. I bought a spring conversion kit on eBay for $115.

The airbag code 411 in a 2008 Lincoln Town Car typically indicates a fault in the driver's airbag circuit, often related to an open or shorted condition. This code may be triggered by issues such as a faulty airbag module, damaged wiring, or a problem with the airbag itself. To resolve the issue, a thorough diagnostic check of the airbag system is recommended to identify and repair the specific cause of the fault.

How does airbag suspension work?

Airbag suspension uses inflatable rubber airbags instead of traditional metal springs to support a vehicle's weight and absorb shocks from the road. When air is pumped into the airbags, they expand to provide a cushioned ride, allowing for adjustable ride height and improved comfort. The system can be controlled manually or automatically to adapt to different driving conditions, enhancing stability and handling. Additionally, airbag suspension can help level the vehicle when carrying heavy loads.
