Lincoln did not offer a Mark VII in 1993.. Lincoln stopped production in 1992. Then started the Mark VIII in 1993
If the anti-lock and air bag light came on after the battery change and the charging light is on now it is probably your alternator. Usually with the Marks, if the battery starts acting up your best bet is to change the alternator too, I know had to do it to my 93 Mark Vlll. Never had to do it to any other car but had to with the Mark, good luck.
Open the hood, on top of the engine in the middle front.
In all probability the alternator is not charging as it should. It could be from a bad voltage regulator or the alternator being defective.
On the 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, the voltage regulator is integrated into the alternator. This means that instead of being a separate component, it is built into the alternator's housing itself. To access it, you would typically need to remove the alternator from the engine compartment. Always consult a repair manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions when working on your vehicle's electrical system.
Disconnect the battery, and remove the electrical connection and remove the bolts, and reverse to install.
The top are 8 mm and the bottom are 10 mm Remember, that is wrench size.
