The fuel pump relay should be located under the hood on firewall below the brake booster and just to the driver side of the engine housing.
The fuel pump works through the fuel pump relay which in turn works through the ECM relay. This does not answer the question of where these relays are and wich ones they are.
To replace the fuel filter on a Ford F-250 gas pickup, first, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay and starting the engine until it stalls. Next, locate the fuel filter, typically found along the frame rail or near the fuel tank. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using a line removal tool, then remove the old filter and install the new one, ensuring the flow direction matches the markings on the filter. Finally, reconnect the fuel lines, replace the fuel pump relay, and start the engine to check for leaks.

On a 1995 Ford E-250, the fuel relay switch is typically located in the fuse box under the driver's side dashboard. It may also be found in the engine compartment fuse box. Consult the vehicle's owner's manual for a specific diagram to identify the exact location and ensure you are checking the correct relay.
