As the rear brakes are disc type, you will need a decent socket set, brake cleaning spray and most importantly, a large C-clamp to push the piston back into the bore prior to installing the caliper. To do the job right, always replace the rotors and be sure to spray everything down with brake cleaner during reassembly. No other special tools are needed.

While you're at it, bleed the hydraulic lines before you reassemble as well. Check axle seals and brake cylinders for leakage, smear a dab of anti-squeal compound on the metal side of each shoe and torque lugs up to specs, usu. 90-100 ft. lbs. I always lightly lube stud threads before torquing to prevent rusting. Have fun!
