Hi there i am having the same problem with my 1998. Some questions for you... Have you checked the fuses under the hood? Was it a graduale decline in use or did it just stop one day? Have you replaced the flasher? located under the cover to the stearing colum? this runs about 20 dollars? Are all bulbs working? If non of the above you may have to replace the multi function switch. this runs about 160.00 and is only available through Chrysler. its easy to replace if you have a screw driver. mine is an electrical problem but i had to go through all of the above in order to determin that. Now i have to pay a mechanic to search out the source but you can save your self alot of money by starting with just the basics. My signal lights stoped working gradually. sometimes they would work other times they wouldint then one day they all together just stopped. please post if you figure it out.
Turn the emergency flashers on and make sure that they are flashing at a normal rate of speed. Then turn your emergency flashers off and try one of your turn signals and it should work.
it is behind the glove box.
If your turn signal flashers stopped working, play with the emergency flasher button on top of the steering column. Our 97 Sable turn signals quit once and luckily I pushed the emergency flasher button in and out many times and the signals have worked ever since. But the emergency flashers don't work, but I can live with that.
You need to check the fuse box, it everything is fine there. You have to test the relay.
turn signals and emerg flashers work off a flasher can. go to any auto store and buy a new one they are cheap and easy to replace
Emergency flashers are a separate circuit. I would replace the turn signal flasher relay. To find it, switch on your turn signals and follow the sound. The flasher is probably worn. I hope this helps.AnswerWhat he said, or you have a bulb out...
it is the relay, change it, it is the hazard button, the one with the red triangle.
My turn signals are not working on my 92 buick regal.
Hand signals are to this day a legal form of traffic control devices.
check the flasher itself and the switch
It has one flasher that controls both the turn signals and the emergency flashers. If the turn signals are working then the flasher is not your problem. However the flasher relay is located on the drivers side, under the dash, above the fuse block, mounted on the kick panel.
You might just need a new flasher or a fuse.
