Mine pings also. It's the heat shields that help protect the engine against the temperatures of the catalytic converter and muffer. Hope This Helps.
Ford f350 super duty shut off and lose power while driving
Well it could be a number of things. If the car will not start or even turn over it may have seized the engine or spun a connecting rod bearing which is a major problem. If it does start up again and the loud noise continues, sounding like a knock u should not try to drive it to the shop. Shut it off and call a towing company. If it starts back up and doesn't make any noise it may be fine. Just keep an ear out for pinging and knocking sounds.
because of you
what causes intestinal shut down?
There are some unknowns here. 1. Did you shut it off and it made a noise, OR 2. Did the car stop running suddenly, making a noise? If you shut the car off, some quiet noises are normal. You may hear the fuel pump from the rear of the car for a couple seconds, and you may hear a solenoid under the hood for a second or two, or the electric radiator fan after the car is shut off. The other question is what kind of noise was it? A loud bang? A whoosh noise, a scrape noise? Did the engine seem to try and keep running? Please add more detail and I'll try to help.
shut the truck up ich
by telling your school mates to shut up!

The official definition of the word slammed is "To shut with force and loud noise."
Very likely an alternator problem; if the alt is not working soon the battery would be drained and the truck would shut off.
If your truck is dieseling or running on, it could be that the fuel is too rich. Try using a lower octane of fuel.
Most vehicles let the fan run after you shut off the engine if it is hot. It will shut down after a few minutes. If you still have problems please post the year, make, model and engine to help us help you.
