If your truck is dieseling or running on, it could be that the fuel is too rich. Try using a lower octane of fuel.
my ford f-150 truck alarm wont shut off
Daytime running light module may be the problem
Maybe you worked your truck a little to Hard. EASE UP on driving just a bit.
most likely cause is the timing is advanced too much and isnt shutting off properly
sounds like a blend door concern or vacuum concern
No it wont hurt anything,as long as you wait till it stops rolling to put in in park.. Ive done it a million times..
check the headlight/multifunction switch
why wont the ac compressor shut off stays on on all settings
That's called dieseling, and the main thing that causes it is improper ignition timing.
Your thermostat might be shorted out. Remove one of the wires off of the stat to see if the furnace will shut down that way.
Headlight power is not controlled by the ignition switch or keys. Damage to the turn signal lever could cause the 'flash to pass' circuit to stay on. Damage to the light switch could also cause the lights to stay on.
is your e-brake on?
