What could cause the front blower motor on my 2001 Ford Expedition to no longer come on but the the rear blower still comes on whenever the front climate control switch is in the on position?

I had the same problem and ended up replacing the blower resistor and the blower motor. Although it could be one or the other .. mine was both.
