The undercarriage of a 1992 Chevy Lumina features a unibody construction, which integrates the body and chassis for structural integrity. It typically includes components such as the fuel tank, exhaust system, suspension parts, and various brackets and crossmembers. The overall layout is designed for efficient weight distribution and includes protective coatings to prevent rust. Visual characteristics may include the appearance of aging components, potential surface rust, and signs of wear depending on the vehicle's maintenance history.
Consider this - I have a 91' Chevy lumina with 256k miles on it, and aside from an oil leak, it still runs like a top
See them below-
Sounds like head gasket is leaking
i would like to remove the backseat from my 1992 chevy cavalier
Need to know if it is, or not,the coupe. Also, what engine.
i have a 3.1 in mine and i get like 20 city and 24 highway
dont laugh but if it is like the one i wporked on recently you must pull motor mounts and pull engine up slightly to get to it then reverse not a do it yourself job if you have no mechanical exsperience
as far as headlights, side mirrors its all the same from 99-01, transmission it is the best to contact local salvage yard , they have parts interchange book to see what fits
Nope call a parts store, same part number>?? also ...everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available for FREE to make copies of...read up and repair like a PRO! Dave :)
Cut the engine capartment out so it fits
its in the front under the valve cover. its kind of cylinder shaped and has a couple wires coming out of it.
You will see two mounts on top front of engine that look like dogbones going from the engine to the radiator cross bar. by removing one bolt from each of the dogbones you can rotate the engine far enough to change the back sparkplugs.
