10w30 should work fine.
What grade of oil is best in your 5.3 liter Chevy engine?"
It is on the left / drivers side bottom rear corner of the engine.
10w40 would be a good choice for this engine.
Typically 5 US qts with filter change.
It will screew into the top of the engine block just to the right of the distributor
A 10W-30 or 10W-40 should be fine.
10w30 should work fine. Go to a heavier oil to increase oil pressure.
It fit a 1968 to 1992 chevy small block.... Do NOT put it on a LT1
5 quarts with filter change if it is a stock oil pan.
I would say the average grade of oil used in a Duramax is 15W40
What is the best grade oil for Quad bikes
I know the 3.4L is 5w30, but I can't remember exactly when they switched the recommendation for the 3.8 from 10w30 to 5w30. Double check the oil cap and it will be on there if you have a 3.8L engine.
