Hello Mark, To begin with, some simple ideas: MAINTENANCE: Done any? Sorry 4 the tone, but you haven't told us what U'VE DONE so far. Within these pages are wonderful commonsense suggestions from Checking the AIR Pressure in your tires(A BIGGY) to UNLOAD UNNECESSARY ITEMS before you hit the road. (Those ROCKS from the last trip ain't helping UR MPGs this trip) Air flow, reduced friction, internal cleanliness(NOT the upholstery)- INSIDE the ENGINE, AND type of FUEL & OIL U use are MAJOR FACTORZ! I've been playing with this topic for over 4 years. My '84 6.2 Diesel gets 24.75 & My '90 Buick V-6 Century is currently doing 24.379, up from 21.365 with my latest experimental additive! email ME FOR ADDITIONAL INFO.
