An oil pump
Or do you mean the type?
all fieros have it in the gas tank
inside the gas tank
Fuel pump in a Fiero is electric. It's in the gas tank. Gas tank's in the middle of the car. Drop the tank. Pull the pump.
nope, not for a fan anyways, for alternator, water pump ect it does
On the firewall, directly behind the driver. There are two there. One of them is for the fuel pump.
All Fieros have the fuel pump inside the fuel tank By the way you may be having trouble because there was no fiero in 1977, production was from 1984 to 1988 so your car is probably a 1987
no but it can stop the fuel pump from running.
Turn key to on position for a minute or so then off. Turn key to start and pump gas. This gives fuel pump time to send gas to engine.
Should cost between 1 and 1.5 hours labour and a pump currently about $100.00
Remove the fuel tank Remove the gauge sender and pump assembly Change pump and pickup sock Reassemble I have to do mine again this weekend. Its only got about 60,000 miles on it.
The 1987 Pontiac Fiero typically has three main pulleys: the crankshaft pulley, the alternator pulley, and the water pump pulley. If the vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, there may also be an additional pulley for the AC compressor. However, the exact number can vary depending on the specific engine configuration and options.
the fuel pumps on fiero's are in the fuel tank and I have never seen a shut off switch on them just a fuse in the fuse box under the dash
