Look on the dip stick, it should read use only mercron. I know it call for type F, but make sure it has mercron on the lablel. I made the mistake of having my transmission flushed and the service man put the wrong kind in. When I went to pull a small lawn mower trailer the fluid sprayed out on the rear of the Bronco.
