Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Distributor rotates clockwise. # 1 cylinder is located drivers side front of engine. Remove all plugs and turn the engine over until # 1 cylinder is at Top Dead Center, (TDC) on the compression stroke. Once you have that connect the #1 plug wire to the plug connection that the rotor is pointing to on the distributor cap. Then just move to # 8 spark plug and run that plug wire to the next connection on the cap going clockwise. Continue with the rest.
