Almost, except the case for a 4WD transmission is designed to mount a transfer case, and the tail shaft is intended to go into said transfer case... a 2WD transmission is not. They will not be compatible.
NV3500 if a manual, 4L60E if an automatic.
It sounds like the transmission shifter linkage is disconnected.
1981-1982 Chevy s-10 with 2.8L V6 automatic transmission TH200C
my automatic transmission is stuck in neutral. how do you get it into gear
If it is slipping in those gears then it is time for a rebuild. no EASY FIX
should be 6 or 8
An automatic transmission has some advantages over a manual transmission. An automatic is easier to drive in traffic and on hills, as you do not have to keep operating the clutch.
NO.... The center shaft that runs through the transmission is SHORTER in the 2-wheel drive transmissions because there is no transfur case. 2 and 4-wheel drive transmissions will NOT interchange.
The 1990 Chevy 1500 4-wheel drive truck typically comes equipped with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission, depending on the specific configuration and options chosen. The automatic transmission is commonly the 700R4, while the manual option is often a NV3500. Both transmission types are designed to handle the demands of off-road and heavy-duty driving.
Standard transmision, 750 rpm. Automatic transmission, 600 rpm in drive.
when i put my 2004 aveo in drive the transmission will not shift to another gear it stays in first gear it is a automatic
