It depends on which way your car is sliding. If your car's back end slides to the right, you'll want to turn your steering wheel to the right. Same basic principle the other way. Car slides left, turn your wheel left. Eventually it should straighten out so you can regain control of the car.
which way do you want it to turn? Well the wheel won't turn, the car will just tip over and you might crash and die. :-(
The way i remember it is the word OPPISITE if you turn it right (reverse) it will turn left!! If turning wheel left (reverse) it'll go right!! hope i helped
The wheel will be stuck or will shake the engine. if you put the spacer that attaches to the CV joint on back wards it will be hard to turn. there is a wrong way and right way to put that spacer on. I put mine on backwards and the wheel did not even turn. try cleaning it out with mineral spirits then regressing it and put back together.
power steering fluid is low, fill with the correct power steering fluid then turn steerig wheel all the way left then to the right before putting the refill cap back on
Let me guess. You have power steering, right? When you turn the wheel all the way to the lock, the power steering pump is still trying to turn it further, which is why the steering feels jerky. You can blow up the pump, or a hose, by holding the wheel against the lock. You won't turn any wider if you let the wheel come back one quarter turn, but you will take the pressure off of the pump.
You back in the direction you want everything to go. If you want your back end (and thus the attached trailer) to turn left, you turn the wheel left.
