nothing will happen. I have attempted to replace a head gasket on my truck, and when i had finished, i tried to start it, and all that would happen was it would try to turn over, but never quite get there, So i had looked up the firing order again, and it fired right up, and im still driving it.
good luck
Spark plug wires are not installed correctly or the engine is out of time.
Start with the battery. Without its power there is no spark. From there you go to the coil. Then go to the distributor and finally to the plugs. Check your plug wires also.
It is possible for that to happen, if it's more than one spark plug, depending on the engine of the vehicle. check your spark plugs, if you replace them and still have the miss, check you the spark plug wires and distributor
Spark plugs wires are just wires that happen to go to spark plugs. They weren't really "invented", it was more or less obvious once the spark plug was developed that there needed to be some way to get electricity to them.
Dead battery. Recharge it and see if it will start. If not, remove the battery and go have it tested.
yes wires and cap are a good place to start, also check wires on the coil Check the spark plug wires and distributor cap.
check/replace spark plugs and wires
Timing, wires Timing, wires
If it has fuel, compression and a good spark that's delivered at the right time the engine WILL start. Check for fuel delivery, use a little starting fluid. Check for spark, depending on how old the truck is you may need to replace the points, condenser, plugs, rotor and wires. If the truck has an electronic ignition, run a diagnostic code to see if there are any problems with the electronics.
ignition wires or cap change the spark plugs, and spark wires
compreshon, spark plug, wires, roter cap, timing any of these
It could be in need of a new set of ignition wires (spark plug wires).
