Your heater is powered by your heater core. Your engine coolant runs through your engine gets hot, runs through the core heats the air, then back out to radiator. You probably need to replace your heater core.
No.
No, a bad crankshaft sensor would cause the car not to start and run.
There are many ways of how a F1 car can lose heat. For example, A f1 car can lose heat by being careful on the brakes, reduce the movement of the car ie going straight more often and doing less sharp turns.
You may need rotors
It will not cause the engine to overheat. You have another problem.
Stripped transmission, low transmission fluid.
Turning the heat on would actually lower the engine temperature. It's a well known trick if your car starts to overheat. Having the A/C on causes a power loss to operate the compressor, which would also cause engine temperature to go up due to the hot air from the condensor going through the radiator.
No, that would have no effect on the heater system.
yes, because once the coolant started to steam it would seep out.
yes but i would start with the thermstat that will cause the car to ouer heat also Yes.
if its bogging down it could be catalic converter
By itself, the thermostat would have to be stuck closed causing a severe overheat condition to cause a loss of power.
