Check your blend door for proper operatin. Check your ac gas level. make sure your condenser and orice tubes are not stopped up.
That means either you have air in your heater core or your heater core is being bypassed
When you set the control, if you chose defrost, it usually does it at the temperature you specify. So if you want heat only blowing through the windshield vents, which I believe may be the question you are asking, it varies between makes of cars. This is what to look for : defrost, fan speed, temperature. If you mean "Can a car that only has a heater ( no air conditioning ) be used to defrost?" The answer is still yes. I believe the question is missing words. It is comparable to asking "Hand, just finger work?" You might try asking again, being more specific, explaining why it is a problem.
If air is only blowing out of the defrost vents, it could indicate a problem with the vehicle's climate control system, such as a malfunctioning mode door actuator or a stuck blend door. This issue might prevent the air from being redirected to other vents, focusing airflow on the windshield. Additionally, low refrigerant levels or a fault in the climate control settings could also cause this symptom. It's advisable to have the system inspected by a professional to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Your system runs the A/C in the defrost mode to remove moisture from the air being directed on the windshield. It is operating as advertised. Your owners manual should define the function.
Well... Its a warm wind that blows east through the Rockies... So... I guess it warms the mountains by being warm and blowing through them...:)
Nirvāna is a central concept in Indian religions. In sramanic thought, it is the state of being free from suffering . In Hindu philosophy, it is the union with the Supreme being through Moksha. The word literally means "blowing out" - referring, in the Buddhist context, to the blowing out of the fires of greed, hatred, and delusion
If air is not blowing out of the defrost vents instead of the main vents, it may be due to a malfunctioning mode door actuator, which controls airflow direction. Another possibility is a problem with the climate control system or a blockage in the ducts. Additionally, low refrigerant levels or issues with the HVAC controls can prevent the air from being directed properly. Checking these components can help diagnose the issue.
Blown Heater Core - The heater fan blows past the heater core and if it has a hole in it your antifreeze ios being blown onto your windshield.
