brake hose is bad
You've either got a bad Brake hose or bad master cylinder. Both these things can cause a caliper to stick.
Sounds like a seized caliper...but it may just be dirt. caliper was chaged less than two yrs ago(4000mi) and dragging sound, feel disappears with light brake pedal pressure
I had the same issue and it turned out to be that the break caliper was sticking and needing replacing.
Your brake pads may need replacing, the disc or drum may be warped or cracked, the caliper may need replacing, especially if there is metal on metal friction. Floating caliper (single piston) designs are subject to failure due to sticking which can occur due to dirt or corrosion if the vehicle is not operated regularly. This can cause the pad attached to the caliper to rub on the disc when the brake is released. This can reduce fuel effiency and cause excessive wear on the affected pad. Additional heat generated by the constantly rubbing pad can lead to warping of the disc also.
This is most likely the cause of a bad caliper, you should be able to get away with just replacing the one side (brake pads + caliper) and this will solve your problem.put copper slip on the rear of pads and the rail on the caliper, this usually stop brake squeelDONT PUT IT ON THE FRICTION COATING OR THE DISC!!!
Your bike's disc brakes may be rubbing on one side due to misalignment of the brake caliper or a warped rotor. This can cause uneven pressure on the brake pads, leading to rubbing. Adjusting the caliper position or replacing the rotor may help resolve the issue.
Mercury is highly toxic and working with it can cause mercury poisoning.
check for loose caliper bolts, brake pad may be moving around in caliper or caliper bracket. missing or broken brake hardware.
There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that mercury exposure can cause autism in children.
Rotor "Out of Round" when rotating "High" spot will cause piston to retract into caliper body

Both the upper and lower caliper bolts must have the rubber boots on them. Otherwise, dirt and moisture will get in around the bolts and cause them to stick in the caliper mounts.
