You probably have a broken Sun Gear from hammering into reverse. Its a cage thing that only works the reverse gear. It holds a set of clutch's. You have to pull the entire transmission to fix. Its almost the last thing before the output shaft. Around a $50 part.
Your gear linkage is offset!! Or you are on a steep down hill
To reverse a Holden Barina, first ensure the vehicle is in reverse gear by pressing down the clutch pedal and shifting the gear lever into the reverse position. Once in reverse, release the clutch gently while applying throttle as needed to reverse the vehicle smoothly. Use the mirrors and rearview camera (if available) to help guide you while reversing.

To fix a Bravada stuck in park, first ensure that the brake pedal is fully depressed, as the shift interlock system requires this to allow shifting. If it still won’t move, check the brake light switch, as a malfunction can prevent shifting out of park. Inspect the shift linkage for any obstructions or damage, and if necessary, consult the vehicle’s manual for troubleshooting steps or consider seeking professional assistance.
If a 1990 Ford Probe only runs in reverse, it may indicate a problem with the transmission, such as low fluid levels, a failing transmission pump, or internal damage to the transmission components. Additionally, issues with the transmission linkage or control module could prevent the vehicle from shifting into forward gears. It's important to diagnose the issue thoroughly, as continuing to drive the vehicle in this condition can lead to further damage.
AnswerYour transmission is probably blown(broken). Probably get a new transmission or try to find a used one with very little miles.Your linkage to the trans may have become disengaged since you do not have the parking gear either. Check under the car to make sure it is shifting when you shift from inside the vehicle.
