I own a 1996 Ford Escort LX 1.9L. My Canister is located under the air filter housing. Take out the air filter and the housing box for it and there it is, half under a piece of the frame. You will see a knob type thing dead center on top of it and two hoses on top.
GOOD LUCK
I believe it is in the right front corner of the engine bay as you are looking at it from the passenger seat.
Charcoal Canister is located behind the driver side rear tire and looks like a black box, if you get under the car behind that tire and look up you cant miss it.

The canister valve on a 2001 Ford Explorer is typically located near the fuel tank, often mounted on or near the charcoal canister. The charcoal canister is usually found on the driver's side, under the vehicle, near the rear axle. To access the canister valve, you may need to raise the vehicle and remove any protective covers or shields. Always consult a repair manual for precise location and instructions.
To replace the charcoal canister on a Ford Ranger, first, locate the canister, which is typically found near the fuel tank or under the vehicle. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety, then remove any mounting bolts or clips securing the canister. Carefully detach the hoses and electrical connectors, then install the new canister by reversing the removal process. Finally, reconnect the battery and check for any leaks or error codes.
