The PCM is bolted through the fire wall. Behind the parking brake. You will need to remove the driver side inner fender liner to get at it.
On a 2000 Ford F-250, the Engine Control Unit (ECU), also known as the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), is typically located in the engine compartment. Specifically, it can be found on the driver's side, near the firewall, mounted to the bracket that holds the relays and fuses. Accessing it may require removing a few components for better visibility.

You need to specify which module.
On a 2004 Ford F-250, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) fuse is located in the fuse box under the hood. Specifically, you will find it in the power distribution box, which is typically situated near the battery. Look for a fuse labeled "PCM" or "ECM" (Engine Control Module) in the diagram on the cover of the fuse box for identification. Always consult your owner's manual for precise details and fuse locations.
