On a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT, the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) module is typically located under the dash, near the driver's side, close to the steering column. It may be mounted to the vehicle's body or on the fuse box. If you're having trouble locating it, consulting the vehicle's service manual can provide more specific guidance.
