The cam sensor is located in the intake valley on the back of the engine drivers side bolted to the head. What is your problem? I replaed mine and it seems that it fixed the stalling and sputering but the transmission still has issues
The camshaft sensor on a 2000 Saturn is located on the firewall side behind the lower engine assembly. The camshaft sensor is the last one with a connector facing the transmission.
It will be located in the crankcase above the oilpan

Camshaft sensor is located at rear end of rear camshaft(near driver). It is screwed on the little bowl and has a connector attached to it. The little bowl contains the camshaft sensor gear , do not unscrew if not necessary , just replace sensor. Jules
cam position sensor on a 2.3 quad 4 is on the end of the front camshaft housing, on the back of it, it is a round plug.

To replace the camshaft position sensor on a 2000 Lincoln Navigator, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Locate the camshaft position sensor, which is typically found near the front of the engine, near the camshaft. Remove the electrical connector and the mounting bolts holding the sensor in place. After taking out the old sensor, install the new one, secure it with bolts, reconnect the electrical connector, and then reconnect the battery.
