oil pan
If your Celebrity has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine the oil sending unit is on the side of the block below the intake manifold. If your Celebrity has the 2.8L V6 the oil sending unit is on the lower side of the block next to the oil filter.
The location of the oil sending switch depends on which engine your Celebrity has: If It is has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine the switch is on the side of the block below the intake manifold. If it is the 2.8L V6 engine the switch is near the bottom of the engine block next to the oil filter.
I believe the oil pressure sending unit for the oil pressure gauge is located on the drivers side of the engine , below the power steering pump ( 4.0 L - OHV - 6 cylinder )
The oil pressure sending unit for the guage on a 4.0 L OHV engine is below the power steering pump on the driver's side of the engine. There will be a short pipe extension from the engine block , with a small cylinder screwed into the pipe , and a single wire plug on connection to the sending unit cylinder
The oil pressure sending unit is on the back side of the motor on the left side and its not to hard and not to easy!!
According to my Chilton repair manual - the oil pressure sending unit is behind the right cylinder head , in the engine block
Remove the oil pressure sending unit retaining ring. Remove the wiring harness from the sending unit. Poll the sending unit out of the engine.
The oil pressure sending unit is located on the drivers side of the engine on the rear of the head. It has one wire going to it. It's a pain in the butt to get to. I'm looking for the temp sending unit on my 89 4cy ranger. Any idea?
a strong engine should read between 150 and 180 pounds of pressure in each cylinder.
Rear right side of engine in cylinder head.
The location of the oil pressure switch depends on which engine the car has. On the 2.8L V6 the oil pressure switch is on the side of the block below the exhaust manifold on the radiator side of the engine.
