On a 1990 LX 3.0 V-6 it is under the dashboard on the passenger side right next to the blower motor. It only has 2 screws in it. If it is malfunctioning your blower motor would still most likely work at the high speed setting.
On a 1989 Ford Probe GT, the heater blower motor resistor is typically located under the dashboard on the passenger side. It is mounted near the blower motor, often attached to the HVAC housing. To access it, you may need to remove some panels or the glove compartment for better visibility and reach. Always consult a repair manual for detailed instructions specific to your vehicle.
I think you have problem with the blower resistor. Please follow the procedure to check. * remove the connector to the blower motor. * use voltmeter to check the voltage. * connect one probe to the ground and the other probe to the 3.0R/w of the motor supply. * turn on the the blower motor with dial, you should read supply voltage, 12Vdc. * if you have positive voltage at the 3.0R/w then you should check the blower resistor and blower switch. blower switch supplies battery negative to the blower motor through the blower resistor. if you need further help please just let me know.
Should be at the passenger side firewall - some are accesible behind the glove box area others undeer the hood at firewall
located on the fire wall left side there are 2 8mm screws holding it in may need to put a screwdriver behind and slightly pry the resistor if the screws just seem like they are just spinning and not coming out . to test first look under the dash in back of the glove box and locate the harness with 2 wires one green and one black with a tan trace I suggest unplugging the harness and use a power probe to power up the blower and make sure it works the green is the pos 12volt and black is ground if the blower fires up then goto the resistor . no need to really check this its a 10 dollar part that is often bad just replace it no worries it is probably the problem I rarely see the control switch bad or the blower so good luck and just remember half of the job is having the right tools to test I highly suggest investing in a POWER PROBE. makes things really easy to test CHRYSLER MASTER TECH ASE MASTER TECH 15+ YRS EXP
where is the ecu located on a 97 ford probe
there are two on the right hand side of the engine bay. top corner.
its located on the throttle body
Inside the transmission.
in the tank
Ok well the ford probe discontinued production in 1997. On all Ford Probe models the fuel pump is located in the gas tank. So to service and or replace it you have to drop the gas tank. Not fun
There is no clutch fluid reservoir on a 1997 Probe. On this car, it is the same as the brake fluid reservoir.
in the fuel tank
