The starter is mounted to the bell housing on the right side of the engine as seen looking over the passenger side fender. It is below the exhaust manifold.

Using an appropriate socket remove the two bolts that hold the starter in place. There may be shims on the starter, if present save them for re use. The starter should now pull forward and then lower it from the engine. Replacement is the reverse of the above.
