To change the starter on a 1985 Chevy Celebrity:
1. Disconnect the battery ground. Use gloves to avoid getting battery acid on your skin.
2. Raise the car and put on stands. Be sure the parking brake is on.
3. Remove the wires to the starter solenoid. Take note of their routing .
4. Some starters have a brace at the front of the starter, remove it if present.
5. Using an appropriate socket remove the two bolts that hold the starter in place. There may be shims on the starter, if present save them for re use.
The starter should now pull forward and then lower it from the engine.
Replacement is the reverse of the above.

On a 1985 Chevy Caprice Classic, the starter is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the bottom where the engine and transmission meet. It is mounted to the bell housing and can be accessed from underneath the vehicle. To replace or service the starter, it's often necessary to remove the starter wires and the mounting bolts. Always ensure the battery is disconnected before attempting any work on the starter.

Chevy Celebrities had a 15 gallon gas tank.
It is no more difficult to put a drive belt on a 1985 Chevy Celebrity than it is in most other cars. Just loosen the driven device, move the adjustment in and remove the belt then replace in the reverse order. Of course if the belt you want to replace is the inside most position you will have to go through the process on the outer belts to get to the inner belts, but that is true on any vehicle.
I would think that on size alone it would fit and mount in. Depending on which of the engines the 1985 Celebrity had you might need to make a number of modifications to use the Corsica engine in the Celebrity. The two engines are NOT identical.
