the starter is located on the transaxle near firewall you must jack car up and look underneath driverside of the engine compartment it is held on by 3 nuts and 2 wires must be disconnected in order to remove it , it is a simple job with the proper wrenches and sockets, remember to use jack stands while working on a vehicle or safely support the vehicle if it must be rasied.
