On a 1989 Camaro, the starter relay is typically located in the engine compartment, mounted on the driver's side near the battery. It's often found on or near the inner fender or firewall. You may also find it in the fuse box, depending on the specific model and options. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for precise location details.

The starter relay on a 1996 Chevy 3.8l Camaro is located in the engine compartment along the left side. It sends power to operate the starter and prevents overloads.

To bypass the starter relay on a 1991 Camaro, you can use a jumper wire to connect the two terminals of the relay harness. First, locate the starter relay, which is typically found in the fuse box. Remove the relay and insert a jumper wire into the corresponding slots of the relay socket that connect to the battery and starter. This should allow you to start the vehicle without the relay, but only use this method for troubleshooting, as it's not a permanent fix.
On a 1995 Camaro V6, the starter relay is typically located in the under-hood fuse box. You can find the fuse box on the driver's side near the battery. The relay itself is often labeled on the box's cover, making it easier to identify. If you need to replace it, make sure to disconnect the battery first.

on the fender passenger side. If I remember right. disconnect batt. first, good luck. Your car has a starter solenoid rather than a relay. It is located piggy-back on the starter. It should be right on top of the starter motor, attatched.
