To determine the transmission in a 1990 Dodge B250 van with a 318 engine, you can check the vehicle's owner manual for specifications. Alternatively, you can look for identification tags on the transmission itself, typically located on the driver's side or rear of the transmission housing. Additionally, you can inspect the vehicle's VIN, which may provide information about the original drivetrain options. If you're still unsure, consulting a local mechanic or a Dodge dealership could help confirm the transmission type.
