The Focus door sensors are wired to what are basically little black buttons behind the door latch bar. Start the car and open the offending door. Look at the door latch mechanism on the car side, not the door side. You will see a small horizontal metal rod attached to 2 side brackets, much like a mini towel rack. Behind that is a little black button. When the door closes, that button is pushed in and the sensor thinks the door is closed. Clean the button and stick a little square of Duct Tape or similar (Gorliia is good) on the face of the button. This will reduce the clearance between the door latch and the sensor button, and should solve your problem.

In the 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, the door ajar sensor is typically located within the door latch mechanism of each door. When a door is closed, the latch presses against the sensor to indicate that it is secure. If a door is not fully closed, the sensor is triggered, causing the "door ajar" warning light to illuminate on the dashboard. For troubleshooting, it's advisable to check each door's latch and wiring for any issues.
In the latch mechanism
The sensor is intergrated into the door latch. If it is not working (and the door chime stays on) spray it with WD 40. This almost always works.
It's located outside the drivers door. First, you must determine who is knocking on your door. Then after that you can open the door to reveal the knock sensor or if it is a manual knock sensor roll down the window and simply say "Hello" to the knocker. Hope this helps.
If somebody knocks on the front door of the Subaru, the KNOCK sensor, sets off the KNOCK Alarm....LOL
If you are talking the FACTORY alarm system on a 2000 Ford Explorer there is no glass break sensor , you have to open a door to set off the armed alarm system after the glass is broken
On a 2000 Cadillac ETC (Eldorado Touring Coupe), the door open sensor is typically located in the door latch mechanism. Each door has its own switch, which is activated when the door is opened or closed. These sensors are usually found within the door frame or in the latch assembly, and they send signals to the vehicle's computer to indicate whether a door is open or closed. If you're troubleshooting, it's advisable to inspect the wiring and connections at these locations.
The door ajar sensor, on a 2005 Ford escape, is located inside the door panel behind the door lock. There is a sensor on each door.
