My 1993 Chevy Lumina did the same thing i ended up having to get a new battery it turns out my factory radio was the problem : - )

Finding such short can be a hassle and it might be easier simply to disconnect the clock then trying to find the short.Finally, there is the (rare) possibility that the Body Control Module (BCM) has gone bad but this is unlikely if this is the only issue you are having.
