i had the same problem on my 04 impla. At times the blower motor worked fine sometimes not at all, it even seemed like something like slamming the door closed would sometimes make it work. Well after lots of fustration I finally found the problem. First you need to remoce the glove box to get to the blowere motor, next you need to check the two wires going into the blower, on the end of the wires there is a plastic end on it that snaps into the blower. On my impala that plastic end had a split on it that caused the wires not to fully contact the motor, therefore not giving it power, after I replaced that piece everything works fine.
Replace the blower motor resistor.
You could have a bad blower motor or there is a resistor inside the blower motor housing which is located under the glove box on passenger side of car (where your feet would go) That could be your problem.
To replace a blower motor on the resistor first you take off the nozzle and then you go into the motor through the nozzle and unlock it then repeat and oil and done.
If your wondering because you only get a 2 or 3 selection for blower instead of 5. and your replacing blower resistor, im told go behind glove box? never tried it. The blower motor is directly above the glove box. Directly in front of that is the resistor for your ac/heat.
Try wiggling the electrical connector at the blower resistor. If wiggling this connector makes the blower go on and off, turn everything off and replace the connector before anything catches fire and burns the truck down.Next, when the blower is not working, set the fan speed to hi and try gently tapping the blower with a hammer. It that makes the blower come on the blower motor is bad and should be replaced. Also, use a test light or voltmeter to check for voltage across the two wires at the blower motor when it won't work. If voltage is present but motor won't work, motor is bad.
Could be, blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor speed resistor, bad blower motor switch,
Replace the paulse board that's attached to the wiper motor.
no and I sure hope someone would not tell you they are A clutch relay is a part with electric contacts that open a closse turning power on and off is a simple answer a blower motor is a motoir with a fan blade on it that forces air or heat through the system Go to any store that sells house fans what you see the blade hooked onto that oushes air is the motor (blower motor) find the switch and turn it off that is the relay relays switch power or turn on and off
The blower motor resistor is defective. They go bad when the blower motor pulls to much amperage.
hook it up to a troggle switch that way you can turn it on and off as you please
The Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective. Follow the wires from the Blower Motor to find it.
because the blower motor is no good, for some reason it get damp in the blower motor chamber, and slowly the speeds start to go one by one until you just have high.
