Why does the wrangler 5 speed transmission grind going in to gears?

If all gears started grinding at the same time either a bad clutch or it needs to be bleed more. If it started with a gear then went to others the syncros are all worn. Which would call for a tranny re build

either your clutch is not disengaging completely or your synchro's are going or have gone bad. If you have a 4 cylinder model I'll bet it's the synchros, those ax5 transmissions are famously weak and suffer from synchro problems.

Of course it will you idiot. Think about it... while the car is going forward you slap it into reverse and the gears need to stop turning the other way BEFORE the can turn the other way around or it will grind all the gears and then you have just ruined your transmission
