THE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER IS LOCATED: FRONT SEATING AREA, DRIVER SIDE, DRIVER SIDE OF STEERING COLUMN, BEHIND DASH, MOUNTED ON LOWER RIGHT CORNER OF FUSE BLOCK.

The 1973 Ford F2 50 pickup truck turn signal flasher unit is located behind the drivers side dashboard. The turn signal flasher unit will be near the back of the speedometer.
That sounds like a grounding problem, probably near the right side lights. It might be a rusty or disconnected ground wire.
There is a spring in the thermostat, And the spring goes down into the intake.
That is the knock sensor
inside your fusebox on the left side of driver side floor board ,about 8 inches up.
usually means you have a bad bulb in turn signal side that is not lit remove lense and replace turn bulb remember the side that is not lit.
there is a switch either under the shifter or on the side of the trans that activates the lights when you put it in R. It needs adjustment or replacement
The ECM (computer) is located on the passenger side kick panel!

There are 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The Turn Signal flasher is located on the drivers side, passenger side of steering column, under dash mounted near cigarette lighter. Optionally it can be mounted under the dash on the drivers side of the steering column. The Hazard flasher relay is mounted in the exact same locations.
