I have heard that the '61-'66 Ford F-Series will fit with slight modifications on F-series and Bronco chassis's up to 1992.
The Largest engine that will fit the motor mounts in a 1988 Ford Bronco is a 351 Windsor engine. You can get custom motor mounts and what not to fit any engine, but it takes some creativity and welding. I have a 460 engine in my 1988 Bronco, but it took quite the time to fit it in.

I currently have a 1972 Ford F250 with a 460 in it.
absolutely not the 302 is in the front and the 460 is in the rear
Yes, this is a common swap as it is a much larger engine than the 351 V8 that came in Broncos, especially since the front of a Bronco is identical to the front of the F-series trucks the 460 came in. A donor truck with a 460 in it should have everything needed for a swap. If not, several sites sell 460 conversion kits.
