Hi,
Most of the time a problem like this is either the wiring between the switch and the window motor or the switch. You will need to do a little troubleshooting, but it is a relatively simple circuit that controls the windows.
I have a link below that will explain how the windows work and also has a drawing of the circuit.
Good Luck, Greg
If the window is stuck in the down position on a Chevy Silverado, the door panel will have to come off to access the cable mechanism and fix the window. If the windows are electric, there will also be the wiring assembly for the window to remove.
If an electric window in a Chevrolet Venture will not go up or down, it is likely that a fuse is blown. Replacing the fuse could fix the issue.
Needs to be readjusted.
If the Chevy Venture's driver's side window won't roll down, it may have slipped off of its track and become stuck. The crank gears may also have gotten fouled. Removing the door panel will usually let you see what is going on with the window and to correct the problem.
If your driver's side window goes down halfway and gets stuck in a 1999 Chevy Suburban, the motor could be failing. It could also indicate the window is off the track.
I need a module for the a chevrolet venture 2003 the the driver side window wont go down
Eat it
Defective passenger power window switch. It is stuck in the down position. Raise the window and immediately disconnect the switch until you can replace it.Defective passenger power window switch. Is this a complaint or a question?
same way hold the switch down and slam the door shut.
Possibly the window motor burnt out. Try not to mess with it happened to me and window broke and i had to pay a lot more.
A blown fuse could be the reason the window will not go down on your 1988 Chevy Blazer. Another possibility is that the switch is worn out or has a loose, broken, or corroded wire.
