You have a 2000 Grand Am that runs great Every once in a while it will turn over but not start After you let it sit for a while it will start right up No one seems to be able to fix it?

Put the key in the ignition and turn it to where the instrument panel lights up but don't start the car. You should see "security" blinking, let the car sit like this til it stops flashing (approx. 10-15min). Do this when the car doesn't start, I'm not sure if it will help it when its running. This is only a temporary solution, so it could not start up again, but repeating this procedure should fix it.
